Hipstamatic for Android

My wifey is almost on Android, but what she is not willing to budge on is that silly lil app called Hipstamatic on her iPhone 4S. In actual fact it is a brilliant app and I am not aware of any alternative for Android in the store that can really compete. I saw this article but because it is written in 2012, wondered if anyone here knows of a more recent competitor for Hipstamatic for Android.

Ive never used it, but isnt what you want similar to Instagram?
