Link you posted is of a lesser model; the Pro has the sleeker design & retina screen & such.

Full page Hisense ad in the Cape Times last week.

They doing aggressive TV ads as well; brand is going places.

Bought one of these from hifi corp with a smart cover for R1399. What a deal.....this tablet is awesome. The display is unbelievable. Just don't buy if you need 3G.

So basically don't buy. You can't be without 3g in this day and age.

Well, 3G is not important to me. I mostly use my tab at work and home and have WiFi in both locations. If I really need to use it where there is no WiFi, I have no issues tethering a hotspot from my phone.
