Hisense Smart TV 50A7100F - Smooth Motion Issue

I wouldn't base my decision on the OS running on the TV, as if it gets to old I would just replace it with a TV stick/box. But so far even my 3 year old Hisense on Vidaa is still fine for Netflix and stuff.
I'm quite heavily entrenched in the Android TV setup and the flexibility it allows over other Smart TV O/Ss, especially the Chromecast capability. The idea of paying upwards of R14k for a TV and then having to find ways to get all the content you want to watch on it (Kodi, Stremio, Steam Link, etc) by adding an external TV Box or Chromecast Pro seems like a compromise to me.

I know, but sadly welcome to the cost of things going up :-(. I luckily managed to score a 65U7QF for R9999 which is normally a 18k TV and the OS on there is fine as well. Even my older 58" is fine, when they give up the ghost I'll just use a Android TV box.

Honestly, it reads like it is a Hisense TV. But I'm not familiar with Toshiba TVs. The uniformity of the backlight might be an issue as well, it doesn't mention if it's edge lit or direct.
