February 28, 2008 - Edmonton - A team of researchers at the University of Alberta has discovered a gene that is able to block HIV, and in turn prevent the onset of AIDS.

Just too bad it's going to take a little while longer, it would be great if they invested some money in this to speed up the process, I've got a friend with HIV and I'd hate to see him die of it
