HIV testing at Clicks?

As per title, anyone did their HIV testing at Clicks recently? Have seen on their websites that they have clinics and they do counselling as well as testing. Reason I am asking is, met this lady and now before we hit it on, we want to go together and get tested. She prefers we go to a centre/clinic we will get counselling and the results immediately. I usually test at my doctor, no counselling, just a form and I avail myself at Lancet. 24 Hours later get the results from the doc. Or can anyone recommend an HIV testing centre (reliable one) in the East Rand

Every year I go to clicks for the discovery vitality check to get my vitality points. I normally get the HIV test at the same time as you get an extra 5000 points . They just prick your finger and put a drop of blood on a test kit. The test kit they use is like a home pregnancy test where lines show up if you are positive. Takes about 15 minutes for the test to show your results. I always decline the counselling as I have been tested so many times. If you have medical aid then they normally cover the test from your screening benefit. Even if you only have a hospital plan.

You can but only on the Rapid tests. In my experience they aren't always reliable. You should try to get it done at a lab where they will do something like an ELISA followed by a Western Blot which is far more reliable.

The ELISA and Western Blot cannot be done instantly.
