R200m is not going to build more than 1 sewerage works though.

Read the full article. The rate payers pay their rates to the NRU and not the city council. The money will only be paid over when and if the service problems are taken care of. Or else they use the money from that directly to do their own services!

Well I feel if i pay every month i should at least not have to dodge potholes - everywhere in my suburb. The roads are terrible.... time for a 4X4 !!
