Hole in my microwave

Just get an Philips Airfryer. Haven't really used my microwave since getting one.

Then that rules out any repairs, outside of replacing it with an OEM part. If the hole is in a plastic material remove it an use some epoxy to fill the hole, if its metal...

Then what about using plumbing solder and some copper plate and soldering it on.

What is wrong with aluminium? We use a lot of it in the oven. What should I look out for?

I have a Russel hobs microwave oven, functionally all good but I just realized today that there is a hole at the back of the oven. The metal sheet got rusted and while I was cleaning it, managed to make a hole.
It's a perfectly working microwave and it's a pity that I have to throw it away, so I was just thinking if it's okay to get it fixed? or can it be even fixed?

superglue a coin over the hole and good to go.

Used my microwave once then chucked it away, The most useless thing ever invented. Airfryers for the win.

For sure you can fix it, cut a piece of metal, pop rivet it, paint, and there you go.

Are you referring to the square sheet found inside the microwave?
That is called a wave guide cover.
It can be replaced and there are sites such as https://www.appliancespares.co.za/ that sells replacement parts.

I've purchased spares from https://homeoflivingbrands.com before.
They have a repair center in CPT that I was able to collect from.
