Hollywood's worst casting decisions?

[Agent_Smith]

Doesn't Clooney himself even regret doing Batman?

I'd like to think everyone attached to that movie regretted it...

[thestaggy]

Nicholas Cage, in.... anything...

You watch your mouth!

[OnlyOneKenobi]

Also, Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg in Uncharted, Shia LaBeouf in Indiana Jones 4.

Two that fortunately got fixed Eric Stoltz in back to the future. Refused to see the script as a comedy and acted deliberately against the script and director continually taking it in a much more serious direction. After 5 weeks of filming on the first movie the entire cast and crew hated him and where at odds. Director fired him, hired Michael J Fox, and had to reshoot all the already shot footage. Fox was still busy on another show and had to film after hours essentially for a lot of it and as such was getting almost no sleep. The slightly dazed and tired look he continually had fitted the role perfectly however.

Well, he was also constantly high...

Well, he was also constantly high...

Only because the director insisted he use a footstool!

Also, and I know some people might feel triggered, any actor that played a race-swapped character.

George Lazenby and Roger Moore in their turns as James Bond...

I have a much bigger issue with whoever that young guy is they cast as the new Q in the Craig movies. They pretty much ruined the Q role.

[ISP cash cow]

George Lazenby and Roger Moore in their turns as James Bond... George Clooney as Batman... Everybody in the Matrix 4. Ezra Miller as the Flash. Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Adam Driver in the Star Wars sequels.

I didn't mind Roger Moore, George Lazenby though - that was horrendous

[Zarnicate]

The Odessey (Hellen of Troy) and Elliot Page as Sinon

[ISP cash cow]

Not triggered at all for once. Fully support this:

12 White Actors Who Played A Person Of Color Or Put On Blackface, Brownface, Or Yellowface For A Role

Scarlett Johansson played Major Mira Killian / Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell. The casting received a lot of criticism since the movie was based on a Japanese manga.
