Holts Wondaweld Feedback

I have a Kia Picanto and the head gasket is going or gone - I did not want to spend anymore money on this car, so my mechanic recommended and I used Holts Wondaweld Gasket sealant. I would like to know if anyone else has used this sealant and how long does it usually last?

There is no substitute for fixing it properly. But I have used this and it did actually work - for a few days...depends on many factors YMMV. I won't use it again. Don't think you should either. False economy.

You know you still have to take the head off to put that on? You also still need to replace the head gasket.
And since the car is now stripped, you can just as well repair it properly....

Thanks for the advice. I am just going to drive this car until it finally breaks down. Dont want to spend anymore money on it especially since it is worth nothing

Well if the head gasket is gone, or going.. it will break down shortly...

and the car is prob worth something.... maybe even more than you think.
