So...anyone tried leveling a Priest as holy? :p

I want to be able to heal in instances, but still be able to quest and level as fast as possible :o Is it possible or should I just stay shadow?

Currently lvl 36 and good at solo questing in shadow spec.

Discipline is good for healing and Damage.

Might be just what you are looking for ?

Or Just lvl Shadow. I've run instances with a SP healing us np. I've healed instances as a balance druid with mostly np.

Damn...ok, I'll stay shadow for now :>

Think I should go Discipline/Holy at 70-80 to get a feel for healing etc. That is the whole idea of my priest :D

I'm a Sadist not a Masochist so I leveled as Shadow and even then, getting to 40 sorely tried my patience.
I think Priests are by far my least favourite class to level.

Leveling as a holy priest is pretty easy, I'd guess easier then leveling as a discipline priest. Just make sure you stack a fair bit of spirit and take spirit tap as a talent.

That said unless you have a dedicated 5 man group and are planning on spending 90% of your time in instances - I'd suggest leveling as shadow.

Vs?

I find it's far more efficient to round up the neighbourhood and aoe grind them as prot

Protection Pala's FTW !

I killed 7 mobs in one go last night SOLO. One full camp all by my lonesome. It was 4 but then the runners pulled 3 more while I'm still in combat.

I felt like I was the King of WoW :o

for the hell of it i pulled the entire platform of warblade wielding belfs above bt once got the elite too XD

then in icecrown i decided to do the same stunt with the undead weapon smiths that didn't end as well
