Home Affairs woes

Hi Everyone
So my wife did her application for a re-issue of her ID with a surname change.
She paid the R140 and went on her way.

Today, she receives an SMS from home affairs saying:
"1st Notice: Application for ID for "insert_id_number" cannot be finalised.
Payment outstanding. More info...blah blah
"

So what now?
Anyone else experienced this before?
Do we have to drag ourselves back to Home Affairs now?

It actually wasn't that terrible at Stellenbosch
I just figured that once that was done we wouldn't have to go back
Seems like I was wrong.

Ended up going back to Home Affairs
Apparently there are some system upgrades happening and everyone who recently did an application will receive that SMS which can be safely ignored.
