The VETI range are momentary type switches, so they don't have an On/Off Position...

Cool, will test it out later. Like the idea of having switches that are smart - but no one would know by looking at it.
I have the T1s in a couple of spots - but I do miss the tactile feel of a switch, especially at night.
 
So these Shelly ones, can I have them running in my house with current sonoff in other places?
 
Does anyone have any smart ideas to turn existing Hi-Fi systems into "Smart" systems?

I have a JBL Link that i use as a smart speaker in the kitchen, but it seems silly to buy another one for the other rooms (Lounge and study) when they already have dedicated audio systems.

The Amazon Echo Input seems like the right product for what i want, but i have already dipped into the Google ecosystem. Could i possibly use the Echo input and have it work via Home Assistant with google commands?

You can power the device with either 12Vdc or 220Vac by changing the position of the jumper.

The entire switch acts as a dry contact, effectively the I/O will be bridged when you trigger the switch. You would need to connect the cables that trigger the gate motor here. I also had to run a wire from (-) to I/O.

Dude, you should make small, short YouTube vids showing exactly what to do for these small projects. Should help drive traffic and sales to your store as well ;)

Find a Chromecast Audio... Or the Broadlink Mini... Of both.
 
Started to play with the Shelly's this weekend... So much simpler than the sonoff units to get setup on the network....

Have run into a small conundrum though with the Shelly1... It has a L N Sw I O... Is it just switching the power on the Input and Output?... Will possibly cbange/complicate the wiring I need to do if that is the case...

See the diagram, not too difficult - you do need to split the live input though.
