Home button as camera shutter on samsung s4

Do the development guidelines of the OS and the policies of the Google Play Store allow this? They're normally very strict on issues like this. (I.e., if a user presses the back button, your app had better go back to where it was before or it won't be allowed on the store. Windows Phone development has the same policy.)

You can get apps that allow the volume buttons to be used as shutter though.

Well it depends on what the policies say. I know they're normally very strict on being able to get out of an app, which the back and home buttons are responsible for.

This waterproof case does not allow access to them Guess I will just have to record videos

Well maybe next time get a phone that's waterproof from the start.

Pretty sure the S4 can do this out of the box in camera settings..
