Thanks. Yeah I am clueless too. Eish.Don't think it's the power supply, not familiar with these units, but the lit LEDs appear to indicate that there's power on the 12v side pushing to the cameras..
Nah it's a monitor. Is it a monitor connected to the DVR or is it a pc connected via your home network. If it is a pc it could be an update or something similar thats causing this. When Flashplayer was discontinued I had to resort to using a monitor as that was the only software that the DVR could use to view through a browser. Also check your cables to the cameras maybe the rats could have had a meal of them.
It's the power supply. Green lights shows there's power on the board.Hi friends
Need help for my home CCTV system.
All the cameras show "No Video". Just stopped working randomly one day. The Cameras appear to be off, so I think it's the power supply.
Anyway to know for sure what's up?

A cheap multimeter will confirm the PSU issue.

Thats an old hikvision DVR. If the PSU measures 12V+- then the DVR encoder (ADC) chip is fried (need new DVR). Cheap R700 job from TAL will do the trick.
Yip. Buy the hikvision. It has a volt selector for longer power runs.Simple swap out with a new one like this?
