Hi

I spoke to Home Commect (the ISP I use) about the reduced wholesale pricing from Vumatel. The person had no idea that this has been done. Surely this savings should be passed on the end user?

Is there anyone from HomeConnect on the forum that can advice when pricing will be updated?

Check the website. I can see the updated prices now. But the old prices is also on there.
A bit of a mess at the moment.
 
I also spoke to support. The price changes (if any) have not filtered down to the plebs yet.
A firm " We don't know about any pricing changes." was the reply. edit , below the changes effected on the site.

Any one els strugling to log in to the Home Connect Portal?
 
Sometimes you need to refresh the page if it gets stuck then it works and you insert your email address. Before even getting to the login page. Outsourced web design and portal. I'm changing isp asap to afrihost

LOL Good luck. I moved from Afrihost after 3 months of fiber to Home Connect where I've been for more than a year now.
 
I'm now with afrihost and glad I am.
Makes a world of difference dealing with someone (@AfriNatic) who knows what CG Nat is, static ip etc. I was with home connect and trying to explain to the support team that I need a public ip was not being understood.

This is my experience as well, left HC a few months back because I was tired of having to teach their tech support how to resolve my issues .
