Anyone know of a decent DIY / Home improvement forum?

Buying a house and want to fix it up myself as much as possible, so could use a good resource to learn things like plastering painting etc etc etc

As a warning, plastering is a PAIN in the ass.. I've done it a few times, and doing it again atm, and I'm seriously considering just hiring a plasterer.

Regarding plastering - I can believe it is a pain. I might try a section and see how it goes. Sounds like it is a bit of an art.

We have a badass here.

Plastering is not something I would even attempt, besides it being a lot of hard work it is also something of an art. I would rather dig trenches for irrigation than attempt this.
