I have recently been sequestrated, ( wich took a long time) , and on the advice of my attorney I have evacuated my house as it would form part of the sequestration. Ive recently learnt that the house is still on my name, and that the bank has not taken any action ( about a year and a half after moving out) and I've alsp discovered that very little of my creditors have taken any action. I think I might have been wrongly advised by my attorney. I could not go under debt councelling as I had a business ( wich is being liquidated on the advice of my attorney too).
The house is empty, and I believe that banks are not keen to reposess properties as there are so many already.
What i need to know is , If i phoned them whould there be a chance of me getting my property back , maybe if I made them an offer of a lower montly repayment for 24 months or something to that accord ?The house is empty ( still) and I really think me and the bank both can benefit from such an arrangement as I currently pay rent in any case ?
What would be the right way to handle this , and what are the chances ?
Thanks
