Proceeds go to a charity of my choosing. Hope mods will allow because charity :D. Bids in comments to make it open.

Auction, zero reserve, only condition is you have to collect or arrange collection (I'll be more than willing to help get it out the house). I can also try remove the material and send just that.

The screen has served me well

Item name (be very descriptive):
I made this screen with high gain, high def material kindly given to me by Doogle (AVforums)) to try out (loved it)

Build thread here.

Dimensions: 2.92cm x 174cm side to side. Border is 10.5cm

Current condition:
Good, there's one bug that got squashed in the bottom corner (see pics) - I haven't tried cleaning it as I'm scared of making a mess of the white.

Velvet border is a bit wrinkled and dusty, the dust comes off with a damp cloth, and the wrinkles aren't visible due to the dark colour, so I've never done anything about it except wipe it down once a year (see pics)

Age and condition: A few years
Do you include packaging: No
Warranty: No
Reason for selling: Replacing
Price: Highest bid between AVForums thread and this thread gets it. Ends 8pm on Sunday (currently R100)

If there's a tie in threads, earliest post wins.

Negotiable: No
Location: Blouberg Cape Town
Shipping or collection: Buyer responsible. (see dimensions)

I was expecting to see a hanged stained white sheet....not a semi pro looking projector screen!

I wouldn't be suprised if the material on this is better than the motorized one I'm replacing it with.

I'm willing to give this auction thing a go, it's for charity after all and hosted by a long time forum member.

What I won't however entertain is the troll comments above. Bids and questions only.

If I'm feeling charitable there will be free infractions for those wanting to test the water :p

This looks interesting. What kind of projector would one need with this? (Sorry, I'm totally clueless with this stuff)

I suppose it can be used with any projector - I've been using a Optoma HD20.

Looks like so.

Oh he's not joking btw. Sure it has somebody to do with my comments earlier about CPT. Regardless. Good luck with the sale OP.

Just a note, if there is a tie between this thread and the AVforums thread, earliest post wins.

My new projector fund...

...kidding... decided on African Tails, my wife supports them already, and they've helped us in the past when others wouldn't.
