Home security/alarm question

Hi everyone

There's been a couple of incidents in the neighbourhood so I'm sharpening up on security. One weak spot identified by AR and police is a big fixed window pane (1.4mx2m). After lots of research this is my thinking:

1) no glass breaker...false alarms + does not help if the pane is removed out of the frame (which is apparently the typical MO)

2) add a PIR outside in the frame (NV37MR - link)



3) maybe add a contact magnet

Would appreciate some suggesitons and thoughts.

Security gate, burglar guards or IR security beams would be the options I would consider.
