Hi everyone.

I have just migrated from a desktop PC to a new Dell Ultrabook.
I have around 2TB of data that I need to access and was wondering what would be faster when accessing, here are my options:

2TB WD Titanium 5400RPM USB 3.0
2TB WD Elements 7200RPM USB 2.0

This will depend on how much you will be accessing the data.. You have two factors to look at here.. Spindle speed and USB throughput.. If you are looking at accessing multiple files at once, say edit a document while copying a file and listening to music, I would suggest the elements.. Faster spindle speeds allow for faster file access times.. If you are not accessing the data very often or multiple files all at once, then go with the speedier USB 3.0 drive..

A USB 3.0 Elements is not an option though..?
