I've had one of these for about 3 months, love it. It's a 2016 model but there's nothing out there to match it at that price. Supports Dolby Atmos, DTS X and has Atmos front speakers. I'll answer any questions I can.

That gets a lot of good recommendations from people, also yes it would effect you getting dolby vision if the soundbar cannot pass it through sadly.Any thoughts on this:-
It has eARC which I understand cuts out delay / lag issues one can have. I know Samsung doesn't support Dolby Vision so would that affect my ability to use it on my TV that supports it?

Also I am assuming , I continue to leave my Apple TV connected to the TV and then from TV I connect to soundbar/AV receiver (regardless of make) so that I can continue to use TV to control everything instead of needing to deal with another remote ?
Nice brackets. I'll need floor standing brackets, there's one big window behind my couch.I had a set of this

For my older surround sound system and they are working for a friend I gave them to. I would personally get stronger ones though.
Floor standing are really, really pricey. How much of a gap between the wall and the window? As I also have a window behind my couch and had the speakers mounted on the remaining part of the wall.Nice brackets. I'll need floor standing brackets, there's one big window behind my couch.
Could actually mount them above the window and maybe try angle them down a bit.View attachment 1181062

You see the problem ? On the right there's a little bit of wall, but on the left there's a door.
Can work, but cables. If it's floor standing the cabling is out of sight.Could actually mount them above the window and maybe try angle them down a bit.

Can run the cables along the ceiling skirting through a thin conduit, or you can get the JBL I've got which is wireless speakersCan work, but cables. If it's floor standing the cabling is out of sight.
I looked at that JBL you posted. How long does the battery last before it needs a recharge ?Can run the cables along the ceiling skirting through a thin conduit, or you can get the JBL I've got which is wireless speakers![]()
I've only had them up for about 7 hours, they claim 10 hours, never really gone that far with them. Also there is a usb b port on the back to charge them/run them while they are mounted if needed. There is the cheaper 5.1 at 9k which is basically a smaller version of the 9.1I looked at that JBL you posted. How long does the battery last before it needs a recharge ?
I'm not there yet in my surround sound journey. I simply move them from the TV stand and place them on a chair here and there to enjoy surround effects. How did you mount the surround speakers ? Do you get stands for them ?
