I'm looking into getting a home theatre system, all i have at the moment is a fairly old surround sound set with no remote. So my questions:
What would be the best way to set a system up using a HD-PVR, HDMI from PVR to TV, co-axial from PVR to home theatre?
Is an HDMI out really needed if the system just has a DVD player, component would give the same quality wouldnt it? Might be useful for future blue ray upgrade though
Do most decent systems have a few video inputs or only audio options?
I'm not looking for anything mindblowing just something simple but effective, what I'm looking at is:
