You asked how my current set up is. SO i just illustrated it's like the above, but replace the mikrotik with the nanastation in that sentance.

Does the AP have to be outside?

If you used something like the Ubiquiti Unifi AC, then you get controller software with it that allows you to setup profiles on one device. So your guests connect to a profile that you limit/control as you see fit, and you connect on a full profile.

You can definitely do that. But I just like to have physical separation I have a tenda extender that runs my guests and the nano internal useage.

What I want to do now is Nanostation becomes guest so they have lekker good signal strength as the Nanostation is powerful.

And then I add the mikrotik that specific one and then I can enjoy overpowering wifi signal in the bathroom
