So this guy is the cause for this hashtag trending.

Fezile D Makhathini (@FezileKid) _ Twitter - Google Chrome 2016-01-13 12.50.32.png

At least it's a break from the racism threads and is getting everyone united for a common cause.

You should see the rest of his tweets. They're ready to report him to the SAHRC.

They bloody well should. I'm starting to think that something has been added to our water lately. Where do I buy my tinfoil hat?

Who are "they"?

Besides which, Milo(a gay Roman Catholic) has written stuff that would be considered just as homophobic.

But there’s a problem brewing, and it has to do with evolution. In in the 1950s, gay men would “live a lie,” get married and have kids. They’d let off steam in dark rooms and bathhouses. That’s not happening any more: the gay rights movement has liberated queens from societal expectations, so they shack up with their boyfriends and either don’t have children, or adopt.

With the result that an entire generation’s worth of artists, playwrights, scientists, and fashion-forward gay BFFs are being mopped up by horrified housekeepers instead of being born.

Difficult to respond seriously to the ramblings of some punk who's looking for attention.
Best response is to ignore him rather than feed him but alas....

Has anyone ever been able to convince Twitter that accounts of such nature should be blocked. As my January experiment, I have just reported his account to Twitter and let's see what happens. FWIW - no other complaint related to being hate-speech or homophobic has ever resulted in a ban of such an account.

There should be an internet-license for people. This kid will very soon learn that his future is ruined by making comments of such nature (and as a parent I pray daily that my kid does not do something similarly stupid).

The more mature individuals usually realise their folly and remove themselves.

I support his right to air his views but, with that right comes the responsibility to accept the consequences. The internet will teach him very quickly.
