hi I've had a bike for about 6 months now, i guess I've been riding about twice a week. anyway I've never pumped air pressure into my tires before, and i would just like to know what is the average amount of time for u guys to add air pressure? this would really help me even if its just an average so i can know the basic time period.
I've also had problems with my choke, it seems i have to keep it on at all times? even when its been on for 15 minutes, as soon as i switch it off i stall. its a 2008 model so I'm not sure what the problem is.:o

check the sidewalls of the tyres - the reccomended air pressure should be written there somewhere. As for the choke, could be that your idle speed is simply set too low. if it's still under warranty let the guys who sold it to you check it out.

sorry u misunderstood me, i said how often not how much air pressure, i know how much air pressure is needed. how often do i need to get it pumped? how often do u do it? i just need an average. thanks for the quick response.
PS: how do i set the idle speed?

Air pumps at garages all have gauges on them. If you think you need to pump your tyres, then just pop the pump over the valve and the gauge will show you, compare that to what the recommended pressure on the sidewall is

You don't, you get somebody that knows what they're doing to do it for you otherwise you might end up worsening things.

Tyre pressures should be checked once a week, at the least once every 2 weeks. Properly inflated tyres lasts longer, apart from the safety concerns.
