Hi guys ,
I have been with neotel for a month and a half and yet , they are still experiencing network problems . I have a neoconnect prime unlimited and my speeds are as follows :
dl : 0.49 mb/ps
up: 0.09 mb/ps
which is unacceptable for a prime , and they claim you will have speed between 300 - 700 KBps . I bought an external antenna and still , no improvements . I have called tech support , they really cannot help you . they suggested a downgrade .....
Tried to get credit from the account department , they are not helpful either . All i asked from them was R200 - R300 credited from my account every month until they resolve their issues , but they say if you used the service , we cannot credit you . the way i look at it , neotel can be to a bad car rental company , claiming their cars would go at 300 km/h , and when you drive your speed is 50 km/h . but what is terrible about that is you are charged every month for the price of a bmw , but you are driving a scooter .......
moral of this story is i am stuck with neotel because no one around gives unlimited internet for a R1000 for 512 Kbps . but the day a company does , i will end this crappy contract unless they stick to their end of the bargain .
and i though neotel would be the company that would give south africa broadband and an affordable price ...
What a joke .....
If anyone has a suggestion , please .............
