Hospital deposit refund

Good day peeps,

My GF is due to give birth in March, so i had to pay a deposit to make sure she has a bed and doesnt give birth on the floor.

So i paid the deposit a couple months ago and now we want to change hospitals. Now the hospital wants to give me my money back, but whats weird is they are asking for a copy of my Credit Card on both sides.

I do not feel comfy giving anyone my CVV number especially an entity like a hospital.

Is this normal for them to ask this, and if it is, do i have to do this for a simple refund. Can i not give them banking details

ok i got the form they gave me for the refund, its asking for CC details but not asking for CVV, so i am going to scan the card in both sides but hide the cvv part

Why can they not just pay it into a bank account via EFT??

i dont know, the form asks for cc details, so i will fill in what they ask and just take a photo of the one side of the card
