I have a few small websites hosted with Host4Africa. Their cheapest hosting package that they offer is R9.99/month which includes R350MB disk space.

I have been using their cheapest R9.99/month package but when I signed up my domains (2009,2012,2013) in the last few years with them up it included only 50MB of bandwidth disk space.

Now I have just been debited for the next year's billing cycle at R9.99/month per website but Host4Africa will not upgrade my measly 50MB (which these days you can get with many free hosting packages) to their current 350MB R9.99/ month entry level service. I was just told to apply for a hosting option on their website and then:

- Select "I want to transfer my domain to Host4africa".
- Next to "Available! Order Now" tick the box and click on "Click to continue".
- Under "Billing Cycle" select the billing cycle.
- Click on "Checkout" and fill in the required information.

The pay for the next years hosting fees all over a again, even though I just paid the same amount for the next year for a very outdated service that they no longer even offered when they billed me!

This is extremely unethical in my book. I received no invoice or info about their services, or any form of contact from them in the last year and now I must pay again for a service I already paid for.

What would you guys suggest?

Have you contacted their support?

Yes. They make it out like it's a whole complex thing to migrate me to a new hosting option so I must apply to transfer my domain to them (It's already hosted with them!) and follow the checkout procedure on their website. Which means paying again for something I just paid for the other day.

They have no contact number for support. Only email.

http://www.domaincheap.co.za offers free accounts with 750mb of free disk space and unlimited bandwidth (local).

This should be in the hosting section, I think you accidently created this in the ADSL section.
