I recently took out a web hosting package with Hostafrica. My experience thus far has been very poor. I setup a basic wordpress site with a few pages and published it on Friday. The site was very slow even though there was very little content on the pages. I kept getting service unabvailable errors. Using any of the editors to modify menus etc. is incredibly slow taking more than 30s after clicking for the menu to come up. Their own site was also very slow logging into cpanel . I got a notification on Saturday morning to say they were affected by a ddos attack. I logged a call with them on Friday but they closed it the next day with no proper feedback. I just wanted to check with others if this is the norm with Hostafrica or could just be a once off bad experience due to the technical issues they faced.
