I am so proud of myself! First off, I'm not a BOFH and sorted this out alone. As I have mentioned before here, I have been struggling with a hot PC for months now, tried everything from fans to running the case open and last sunday I even removed and cleaned the heatsink and CPU. I suspected dust but after blowing the case out and putting new paste behind the heatsink the case was still hot. I used "speedfan" to monitor temps and it would spike on my GPU around 80 during gaming and sometimes trip. Today it tripped about 5 times. I was sitting watching it when I noticed thd PSU was extremely hot. Then I saw it! The PSU fan was standing still! It had siezed up. I decided to strip and clean it. I did, and removed a lot of dust and got the fan loose. Put it back and now its working again and spinning easy Temp on the board is no 37!
