Does anyone know of a place that sells Bhut-Jalokai or Moruga Scorpion Chilli/Peppers in the Cape Town area ?

I've tried ordering from overseas but they never seem to get here.

Hmmm if you got a greenthumb you can always order the seeds locally from bidorbuy

You pretty much have to grow them yourselves, the market is not big enough for retail shops to sell fresh chilli that only 0.001% of the population can eat.

If broadacres is far, the bel airs spar also has, but not nearly the amount of variety.

I can recommend the pure death and sudden death sauce.
The original death sauce had an odd, smokey burnt taste to it, and was pretty horrible.

Another great sauce for taste, is the sauce from mazambik restaurant on beyers naude. R30 (IIRC), comes in a glass coca cola bottle, and is damn tasty. Its one of my favourites

Some of the best sauces have come out of funny bottles ;-). The one from Mozambik is pretty nice, it's not really hot but it's got a nice flavour to it.
