The one thing that's interesting to me is the trend line which is emerging in the Daily Energy consumed per Occupant plot. Its already quite pronounced with quite a good correlation. You could use that formula to roughly predict/estimate the consumption of any "average" residential home, just based on the number of people living there. Of course you can't generalise because as you can see some households use a lot more and others a lot less.

In CoCT we have to permanently assume the bent over position :p
I'm in City of CT and my power is much cheaper than yours. I'm on prepaid and paying less than a Rand for my first 3 or 4 hundred units each month. I'll check the exact scale of costs tomorrow.
