The DA trying to stop illegal constructions on a heritage site actually.
I have been following this story this morning and I have seen this reported, however there has not been any mention of the City of CT obtaining a court order to remove the squaters, which AFAIK is required. That would make the actions of the City illegal. But the media could be overlooking it for now, but I'm sure the question will be asked when things die down.
ok, hang on, if I park my caravan on your front lawn and take the wheels off you have to get a court order to have me removed?
They're breaking down unoccupied structures at the moment - don't need a court order for that. They'll need a court order to remove occupied ones. LinkyNot too sure of the legal detail, however in JHB when the "red ants" go in and remove squaters, it was as a result of court order. Perhaps Blunomore or someone can advise?
