Hovering Kreepy Krayly

My kreepy started behaving weirdly just as the lockdown got going. It hovers slightly above the pool floor and thus doesn't clean properly. Searching for this problem suggests there may be air stuck in the head but I've checked that without a difference. The suction is strong and I didn't add any new hoses recently.

Anyone experienced this or know how to fix?

Same issue for me. But after a while it starts moving again. No clue why it does that though.

When the barracuda does that, it weight came loose.

Today i moved the weights on the pipe closer to the kreepy head. Will see tomorrow if that helps.

I never had any weights on the pipes so can't imagine why it would be needed now.
