I hv a tiny firm wre 40 ppl works with 40 different machines.I m using ADSL connection for few months with out better result.I want to use full bandwith with a superior speed.Pls help.

An ADSL line is not enough for 40 people.

Its going to cost big $$$ to get proper internet for 40 people.

I'd say put in Proxy Server or use software that makes multiple connections to a website.
Like Faster Fox for Fire Fox...

Proxy server is best option in my opinion. We use a single 512kb line for about 150 workstations. Has it's moments of absolute misery when all 150 workstations are being used simultaneously to access Facebook, GMail and Google Earth at the same time, but in general it is OK. Using proxy also allows the ability to limit individual bandwidth a little more easily, and allows the company to block websites etc. Very useful.

OH, and another thing, if asking for support, I would recommend ensuring your English is up to scratch, because your question is not very clear. Avoid SMS talk on a forum. You have a full QWERTY keyboard at your disposal. Use it.

Try to give a few more facts, so we have less variables to play with, such as do all 40 machines connect to the ADSL line, what is the existing speed of the ADSL line etc. Are you the IT Administrator, looking to better control bandwidth, or some greedy user who wants it all to himself??

Just for future purposes!

 That's exactly what you DON'T want to do if you have 40 people using 1 adsl line...

I'd get a dedicated server box up, 2 or 3 x 4mbit DSL lines, and then install a squid cache on it with at minumum a 20GB allocated cache, and then configure it to round-robin between the 3 connections. Additionally, install firefox on each of the PC's to replace Internet Explorer, and set each one's local cache to more than the default 50MB, i'd say 512MB should be fine - i use that and it works fine.

so basically what you want to do is, cut everyone else off and have all the internet to yourself?

Why don't you just unplug their network cables?

Trying to familiar with Proxy Server.I will inform you later. Thanks Graviti.
