How can I make this desktop computer a bit faster

SSD, most bang for the buck you can get,

when I won that SSD here on MYBB and installed it as my OS disk, was like night and day.
Win 10 is programmed to work best with an SSD it seems.

He'll need to confirm if that's Windows 10 32 or 64 first as if it's 32 then any more RAM would be a waste.

But yeah, first and foremost would be to get an SSD

Keep in mind that SSD will push the proc with IOPS... you're basically shunting the bottleneck around.

Not saying performance gain won't be noticeable, it will just be capped.

True, my old laptop has an original i5 with an SSD and the CPU is pegged at 100% for a good while after logging in and even when launching some apps. It's still much faster than anything with a mechanical HDD though.
