How can I search a site that do not have a search function?

Just what the title says, to search a site which do not have that function? I use firefox 3.

You can try using the site: 'keyword' when using Google.

For example, to search for 'foobar' within the domain 'example.com' :

there's an area where you can specify a domain or site to search.

I think site refers to the whole link whereas inurl just refers to a part of the URL.
