How can I unlock Vodacom router

Please assist, I purchased a Vodacom modem From vodashop without asking if it will work on other networks . But it will not allow me to use my Telkom sim. Can the modem be unlocked to use any sim. Grateful to anyone who can offer help with unlocking it.

HI Guys. I have the solution just finished and it worked forget firmware, romware blah blah etc. Well, atleast for the R207. Solution can be found on google just keep reading you will find it. I found it but it was for the R207z. gave it a go and it worked, because one of the forums said that internet service providers are by law not allowed to lock the devices. I reckon go for it. so, type '' Using the Vodafone ZTE R207-Z Wi-Fi Router/Modem with Other Networks'' into google search bar follow the destructions and enjoy. 16/08/2020
