How can old UPS batteries be recycled?.

Try a scrap yard. I've taken a whole bunch of them before to The Reclamation Group at 81 Teak road, Jacobs. They will give you the best price.

Any electronics recycling depot will take them. They are lots of them around in every city. Not sure if they will pay you for them though, but they will definitely dispose of them correctly.

Nope. All batteries. I bought my deep cycle battery there. It's called Battery Centre...not CAR Battery Centre.

Any lead acid battery has scrap value.

I checked Battery Centre's site and could find no such batteries.
