Unless it's a trail run and Jane Dickinson is there! There's no way in hell I'm letting her beat my ass again! @Cray

I'd go up against those pecky kids too but I know my limits!

Did the first ever parkrun at Botha's Hill a few years back, tried and failed to keep up with Bruce Fordyce, bugger is still quick even though the years haven't been kind to him.. :ROFL:

At least with Bruce it's a bit different. Man was in a league of his own

But when you're running at top pace and Jane smiles and says hello as she passes you by with that little shuffle she has going it gets me :(

For those who don't get it. Jane's in her 80's :oops:

Yup, some scary talented people out there. I don't mind being beaten by people who look like born athletes but there are a few people out there who look like they shouldn't be quick, very awkward with a weird style and then they whip your ass out on the course. :X3: :ROFL:

I'm working on my run style ok! :oops:
 
I have a a background in competitive team and solo sport, so I gave myself a 7. I will say that I've chilled out quite a lot as I have grown older and find myself enjoying the events I partake in much more.
 
Depends on the context and the prize for winning.

I do hate certain people beating me in my Park Run and 10km/15km/21.2km races though. I know exactly what @Cray and @ShaunSA mean :ROFL: . It's a runner thing. :D
 
In terms of revenue I don't agree because Temu charges for that and just like any other online shops like Ebay they won't release your item until you pay
