I play cod4 and warcraft tft as my online games at the moment. I'v never really known how to do this and its always bugged me, but when I host a game of warcraft online. My brother, who is on lan with me, cannot join my game, and visa versa.

Iv heard there is a method of bridging connections some how so that he connects through my connection (or something), and hence, I don't know, there are no network conflicts? To be honest I really have no idea why he cannot join the games I host online. It has nothing to do with firewalls as they are both off.

Please help.

Bridging a network connection might not work in your case might be something else..but..make sure you have two network adapters in your pc (ie onboard and network card)..then just highlight both of them ..right click and say bridge connections..

Don't need to bridge. Both of you must be logged onto bnet. If that still doesn't work, then it's because you guys are using the same IP.

What I used to do was to create a PPPoE connection and my friend as well, obviously not the same account and then we connect and log onto bnet and then he could join my games. This was with Wimax, but I am sure it will work if you put your router in bridge mode.
