How do I cancel Iburst?

Hi

I need to cancel my subscription. As i have said, I have no serious qualms or bad things to say against Iburst. It has served me well for the last 3-5 years. (can't remember how long exactly) I have downloaded, played BF2142, BF2, TF2, CSS, COD4, MW2 and now BFBC2 online and never had any major headaches. Could've been better I suppose, but could def been way worse!! The main reason is basically that ADSL has simply become a more affordable solution for me.

What I need to know is how do I cancel and when is the last payment due? I would really like to wrap this up without any hassles and fights etc. I need it ended by the end of April or possibly sooner, but I'm assuming you pay for the month and not part thereof?

If i remember correctly, you need to give 1 months notice. Meaning you'd only stop iburst end of May. And, so long as you aren't on contract that should be it (make sure to explain you arent on contract else you'll be ask to pay a cancellation fee...). Last payment will be end of April [for May]. And that's about it.
 
Who can I contact to cancel my Iburst? Held on for almost 30 minutes yesterday. not fun!
 
I know this is 4months old, but why start my own thread if there is one already... :)

I want to know as well. I am on contract with them, so how do they calculate the cancellation fee? Also, do I have to give the modem back?

How old is your contract? Please send me your contract details so that i can escalate to the relevant department.

Cancellation fee will be your subscription multiplied by the number of months remaining and no you don't have to give the modem back.

Not to sure how old it is, but I just needed the info, not gonna cancel soon, as I have my wedding coming up and all extra $$$ are going there. :)

If I give it back, do I get discount? :p

I don't know if we should share this, but I actually don't have a problem with Iburst, only the random double billing. I have a problem with the last mile medium they use.
 
Okay, so it's that time to cancel.

24month contract expires on 9 Sep 2011.

I can't remember, do you pay on the 1st(ish) for the month coming or the past month?
Is there like a pay-as-you-go option?
What do I have to do to cancel?
If there is like a pay-as-you-go option, does my remaining BW get carried over to that?
