How do I check if modem is blacklisted?

Some guy wants to sell me a Huawei modem. How do I check if its blacklisted or not? :confused:

There is another thread about this somewhere, maybe the following will help: [searchforum]modem +blacklisted[/searchforum].

Take it to your nearest VodaCare/VodaShop and have them Validate the IMEI number of the modem for you. They will then be able to tell you if its blacklisted or not.
