How do i connect/add more irc room thingees on opera.

Yep, i'm interested in using a irc program itslef, but i occassionally go in to opera default chatroom thingee.

My questions is how do i add find more rooms. Example, say i'm wanting to look for more german rooms, how can i do this.

I'm not to jacked up on this type of stuff so bare with me please.
