do i need a network card or something for my pc

please help thank you

You'll either need a wireless USB dongle for your computer or a Wireless card and antenna. Once you install the hardware and software you'll have to synch up between the two. It will depend on the actual device you use on your computer but you search for a wireless signal and once you find it you'll have to put in the router's password which is normally found on the side or bottom of the modem.

Does your PC have a Wi-Fi card on it?

If you have never changed settings on your billion 400g modem (by default your wi-fi on the modem should be broadcasting as wlan-ap), you can connect to your modem. the default password for the wi-fi is written at the bottom of the modem.

You could always go buy another lan cable...
