How do I create a complete Android backup?

I followed the procedure as per Android SDK and here, but the backup is only 30MB and there is nothing useful on the backup file.

I am trying to simulate a backup/restore. So I checked the contents of the backup file but it's basically empty. The photos and videos on the messaging should be ~2Gb.

Am I doing it wrong?

Acronis True Image 2019 backs up Android and iOS systems (as well as PCs, of course).
