I'm still on the Procall 220 contract, it expired in April of this year (2 year contract) and I've basically outgrown the need for having 220 any time minutes.

I'd like to downgrade my package to something like a 100 Anytime minutes in 'n month with indefinite roll over (found out last year my minutes only rolled over 2 month period then I lost them which is ****ing insane seeing as though I paid the contract but anyway)

I don't use my cell much these days and I would like to know how to downgrade as the normal response I get from the nice call centre agent and little branches they have is "Eish wha?"

I was also on ProCall 220 which expired early this month. I upgraded it in March and I had to choose one of the AnyTime packages as the ProCall ones have been discontinued. If u leave the contract to run - it will still continue on ProCall.

All u need to do is to UPGRADE IT - then u will go on the AnyTime packages, thats simple!

Yea but I don't want to upgrade it. I want to "upgrade" it to cost less a month

Just choose a cheaper tariff package and handset and upgrade to that.

Those anytime contracts is a rip off.

just take that 220 minutes X the peak rate, and you will c, its much more than R350 you get from a anytime 350 contract for the same price.

Look, its just a matter of semantics here.

U are referring to a TARIFF MIGRATION! Thats basically changing a contract package - in your case to a lower contract package. Fair enough, just ask your SP (I have done that before, albeit to a higher package (My Call -> ProCall).

However, in your case since you are currently on a month-to-month contract (your 24mths is up) U WILL NEED TO FIRST EXTEND THE CONTRACT BY ANOTHER 24 Mths (UPGRADE) - But choose a lower contract package (AnyTime).

Hope this helps;)

I beg to differ, comparatively speaking they are more or less the same. The thing is AnyTime packages are designed for those who will prefer to topup their airtime (more freedom) when their allocated minutes (in rands) are up - compared to continue calling and get billed later.

AnyTime 350 costs R350. U get 50 SMS' and approx 170 AnyTime Minutes.
50 sms X 75c = R37.50

ProCall 220 costs R389. U get 220 minutes.

Make your choice.

Personally, I would prefer to recharge my account when my airtime is up.
