Hello everyone

Our company is an outsourcing hub for a number of US and European based businesses. Our main role is management of website content - from content generation through to data uploads, etc.

All the sites we manage are based in the US and Europe and as such our international bandwidth (or lack thereof) has a major impact on productivity and job satisfaction.

We currently run our email through a 1024KB ADSL line (IS) and our HTTP browsing through a 1Mb Diginet line (Verizon).

However, our international browsing is still incredibly slow with some page submissions taking up to 8 minutes to complete. This could just be an update where we have changed the title of the page using a CMS and is measured from clicking "submit" until the page refreshes.

Is there any way in which we could maximise our international bandwidth, or purchase international bandwidth?

We are currently looking at renting a server in the US with a 100Mbit connection and then allowing our user's to Telnet into it. We haven't tested this yet but I'm hoping it will speed things up (even if only a little).

Other than that we're at a loss as going any bigger than a 2Mbit or 4Mbit Diginet line is out of our budget...

Any help / advice would be appreciated.

I think Stoke should reply here. There's an SAIX Gold package he always talks about, try googling for info ;)
