How do I keep my internet connection on after loadshedding ends?

Hi, So I have my router running on a UPS during loadshedding. Ever Since January this year, when loadshedding ends and the power comes back, my internet connection drops and it takes about 5 minutes for it to reconnect again. What can I do to solve this ? Is it a setting on the wifi router that changed? I am using a Zyxel router .
 
Are you using a fibre router or a LTE / 5G router? - Also, does the router go through a reboot cycle whenever power is restored, which may indicate an issue with the UPS power feed to the router being interrupted for some reason, causing the reboot...

That's really nice, but expensive when it's a grudge purchase and you're on a budget.

Everyone here is assuming it's your router. Does the router stay up with the UPS when the power switches over? Yes or no?

My first thought is it's the FNO's (fibre network operator) kit that's power cycling - not yours, and thus you have a 5 min delay till your connection comes back up.

If that's the case there's nothing you can do as the issue is on their end, not yours. You can of course nag for them to get some more resilient power on their end, but that's it.

LOL, but to be honest in my opinion there is absolutely nothing wrong with this Gizzu I have used for years and have recommended to my friends. Yes there are certain Gizzu power bank models that have blown up when you recharge them and they did a recall on that a year ago I think, but this particular model I have used, and all my friends as well is absolutely amazing.
It just works :)

It is a fibre router. It stays on the whole time. it just loses internet connection for 5 mimnutes

My backup power is on the whole time. This issue only started in January this year
