How Do I know what ATI Card this is?

Ok today I brought a Powercolour ATI HD4650 512mb, so I stuck it in my PC, installed it, and its shows up as "HD4600 series" I then saw it has 1GB of vram! SO I checked the box again 512, checked the sticker on the card AX4650 512,

Now this is my problem, If they got mixed up at the factory and put a 1gb insted of a 512mb, then could they have put in a lower card? (Eg. a HD4350)

So how do I check the exact model?

Have you got a onboard gpu as well? Mebbe it shares it with your system ram.

You can also use CPU-Z (i think from v1.52 it has a gpu tab)

Rather check it catalyst control how much v-ram. And since it said 4600 series, it could only be the 4650 or 4670.
I think you got what you paid for

Well GPU-z didn't tell me what card it was, but it did tell me there is only 512mb vram
as opposed to catlust controle panel and windows saying 1gb
Thought it maybe my motherboard giving the card extra ram (Pci-e apature size) but no such setting

If you look under Display Settings on your PC and on the advanced button and click on the Adapter it shows total Vram the Shared System Memory Depends on the amount of physical ram free.
